I'm Sidhya and I'm a Senior in the BFA Communication Design program with a Minor in Psychology at Parsons School of Design at The New School. I was also a part-time student at Cornell Tech studying product design & management with graduate-level students at Cornell Tech. I like to design products that visually look good and creatively solve complex problems. I love to brainstorm ideas on things I dislike and then create prototypes that might solve the problems. Some classes that I've taken are Product Development & Management, UX Design, Quantum Computing, Metaverse & AI, Psychology, Typography, Economics, and Design History. My professional goals are to become a successful Product Manager and help make products that make an impact.
During my free time, I like to play guitar and produce some music. When it comes to sports, I play soccer, badminton, and you can catch me running in Central Park and Hudson River Park. I'm also a novice photographer and I love walking around New York City with my DSLR and film cameras that I "borrowed" from my dad. Thanks to college, I'm learning how to cook some decent and healthy food.
Some causes that I care about are making education and technology more inclusive and accessible to everyone, especially in developing countries like India. I hope to use design as a tool to have a significant impact on improving people's lives.
